This costs money and this is an event to help raise funds to help. In this case you get something out of it--access to a great show and commemorative items donated by musicians, actors etc.
Paul Banks of Interpol and Albert Hammond, Jr. of The Strokes will headline. Both will perform with their solo projects. Hannibal Bures will perform stand up and Ray Ellin will MC. Many more guests will participate as well.
There will also be a silent auction with items (and experiences) donated from artists such as The Black Keys, Radiohead, Tory Burch, Regina Spektor, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Strokes, Drew Barrymore, Vampire Weekend, Portishead, Interpol and a slew of others.
Bidding on these item is happening NOW at charitybuzz.com/benjamincurtis and ends September 5, 2013.
100% of the proceeds will go directly to Curtis' fund.
