Silverbird Releases New Single, "With The Spirits," Off Upcoming Debut

Silverbird just released (ok it was a couple days ago) the second single from their debut, Surface Life. The EP comes out May 27 2014. The song, With The Spirits, is below for your perusal.

The band was formed by Tim Barr whose personal influences seem expansive (from jazz to pop and back to the spacey/haunting rock you can hear below).

Phox Release Video For "Slow Motion," Debut LP Out June 24, 2014, Touring Too

Phox have a new video for their track, Slow Motion. The band's guitarist/banjoist, Zach Johnston, directed the video. It was shot in Nashville.

The Wisconsin-based band are also releasing their eponymous debut LP, June 24, 2014 and heading out on tour over the summer. Dates are below.

The Singles have a new video for their song, Inamorata. The track is the first single off the band's recently released LP, Look How Fast A Heart Can Break.

The group is a duo made up of Vince Frederick and Nicky Veltman. The two are originally from Detroit but now reside in Los Angeles.

Bebe Panthere Releasing Debut EP, "Pink Sweat," Hear A Track Now

Bebe Panthere is a solo project by Effie Liu, French Horn Rebellion backup vocalist. She has a debut EP, Pink Sweat, coming out soon. You can check out a track below.

She originally moved to Brooklyn looking for a career in the fashion industry. But her long-time fascination with music sprang forward. She met producer Baghdaddy while working with French Horn Rebellion. He is the producer of Pink Sweat.

Ian Moore Touring USA As Duo With Kullen Fuchs

Ian Moore's first musical incarnation was as a blues-rock guitarist in Austin Texas as part of The Lossy Coils. These days, based in Seattle, Moore is heading out on tour as a singer songwriter.

He is currently on tour in Azerbaijan and Russia with the Mary McBride. Following this he is heading out in the USA as a duo with Kullen Fuchs. His latest EP, Aerie, is out now.

Diamond Version's debut LP, CI, comes out June 3, 2014 on Mute. You can check out the first single from the album, Were You There?, below. The song is a collaboration with Neil Tennant (Pet Shop Boys). The song is an old gospel tune.

Pell Releases "Dollar Store," A Preview Of Upcoming LP, "Floating While Dreaming"

Pell, from New Orleans, has a new track, Dollar Store, out now for your perusal. The "dream rap" artist from the Gulf Coast teamed up with Roc Nation's Ludwig Göransson to produce the song. The producer has wored in film/TV and with music acts ranging from Haim to Childish Gambino.

This is a sort of preview of Pell's upcoming LP, Floating While Dreaming. Pell's mom was an opera singer and the family had to relocate following Hurricane Katrina.

People, out of Brooklyn, have a debut LP, 3xaWoman, coming out June 17, 2014 on Telegraph Harp. You can check out two songs below, Piles for Miles and Liklihood of Bang. Listen to them. The band is a little hard to define? The music has an edge to it but also has well-defined pop sensibilities. The songs have elements that will many anyone only comfortable with run of the mill pop...uncomfortable.

This is good stuff and you really should keep an eye open for more from the band and the new label.
