Corpus by Michele Oka Doner Wildwood Press (St. Louis) showed work by Michele Oka Doner and Linda Schwarz at Ink Miami 2014.
Wildwood Press was founded by Maryanne Ellison Simmons in 1996. Simmons is publisher and master printer. They have an etching press capable of making five foot by ten foot prints.
Doner's work is held in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York), The Museum of the Art Institute of Chicago, the FIU Wolfsonian and many others. She also works in sculpture and installation. Some of these have a similar aesthetic to the prints here. Listing every collection holding her work or her awards would take up a great deal of space. Schwarz is a German-born artist. Aside from her website resume I couldn't find a great deal of information on her. NOW, as I am coming to the end of months of posts on this year's Art Week in Miami?
