Capturing a Drip Tim Eads' Vector Forms runs at Pentimenti Gallery (145 north second St., Philadelphia) November 7 to December 15, 2015. There will be an an opening reception with the artist from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, November 7.
Vector Forms consists of new scupltures by Eads and an installation. This new work is lightweight and colorful; he makes use of steel, acrylic, fiberglass and ink in his work. Eads has been show across the USA with shows at: Sam Houston State University, Delaware Center for Contemporary Arts and the Museum of New Art in Detroit.
There will also be a cocktail reception and talk by the artist from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturday, November 15. Also on November 15 you can purchase a screen print by Eads created for the Cranbook Art Museum. The museum owns the first edition of Eads Spiro Series. Pentimenti is offering the last four editions for $490 to collectors on this date. After the November 15 event? You will have to spend $750 for these prints.
