Ryan Mosley's Thoughts Of Man appeared at Expo Chicago 2013 courtesy of Tierney Gardarin Gallery (New York). Mosely's work is surreal with its juxtaposition of forms and fantasy. These fantasies are not all things drawn from our past or from dreams or from any specific place but rather simply what occurs to the artist.
When you read about him he says that the work is spontaneous--he just does it. Why it is what it is perhaps he doesn't even know. And it is probably why the work is often fascinating.
