Goslee, based in Washington D.c., presents her latest works on canvas. The artist creates work that creates comforting spaces and viabrant energy. She uses patters, dripped paint and materials applied directly to the canvas. she has a BFA from the University of Georgia and a MFA from Catholic University.
Van Brakle's landscapes are often dominated by cranes (of the construction variety rather than the birds). They are an homage to her grandfather's work in construction. The landscapes in these new paintings are more eabstract than in the past. Van Brakle is based in Maryland and has a BFA from Corcoran.
