There will be an opening Friday September 11 and also Coffee & Conversation with Grossman 11 a.m. Saturday, September 12.
Grossman's art is captivating and distinctive. When I first saw her work, at a distance, I thought they were photographs. You do not need to look to closely to note they are not. These pieces do, however, have a realistic element, especially the skies. These works are alive. She captures motion and the grit of the city in a unique way. You never need to look twice to know a piece is Grossman's. You can look at them on the computer screen but you really need to see them in person.
These 13 new works are charcoal and pastel on board. They range in price from $9,800 to $21,400.
