Southern Guild (Cape Town), always a treat, showed work by Andile Dyalvane, Porky Hefer, Stanislaw Trzebinski, Atang Tshikare and Charles Haupt At Design Miami 2018. I think that is everyone. I am not sure. It has been a long few days.
Hefer's Endangered is a co-presentation by Southern Guild and SFA Advisory and benefits the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation. His cocoon like leather and woven grass seats are marvelous and a reflection of nature. They may be suspended from the ceiling or mounted.
The table below (bottom) is from Trzebinski, a Kenyan born sculptor (the title is, appropriately, Extra-Terrestrial).
