Shulamit Gallery (Venice, California) showed work by Orit Hofshi at Context Miami 2013.
Hofshi spent the better part of a decade studying and working in the USA. Now the artist is living and working in Herzliya, Israel. These pieces are woodcut on handmade abaca paper and ink on carved pine panels. Of course trying to get intricately drawn and carved pieces to come across in photographs is a tad difficult. But you can get some idea of her work from the various photographs here.
Hofshi has exhibited these pieces in Israel, the USA and Europe at a variety of museums including Asheville Art Museum, The Israel Museum, The Print Center, the Royal Academy of Arts Museum and many others.
