Selected Works by Dan Rizzie opens June 11, 2016 at Peter Marcelle Project (4 North Main St., Southampton, New York). There will be a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 11.
The work shown dates back to 1982 and comes from the artist's personal collection. Rizzie has been exhibiting since the 70s and has been the subject of over 90 solo exhibits. He was born in New York State and travelled around the world in his youth--from India to Egypt to Jordan and Jamaica. He currently lives in Long Island. His work is included in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Dallas Museum of Art and the Parrish Art Museum among others.
