The artist is from the Edo region of Nigeria and mixes his culture's mysticism with Catholicism in this work. The exhibition is entitled The Making of a Monarch includes a number of pieces .
The works include perforated paper works, bronze sculpture and the multi-media work below, Holy, Holy, Holy King. That piece is mixed media on canvas. If you look close you can see the work is infused with rosaries.
The entire exhibit revolves around the intricacies, historically, in choosing a king in the ancient kingdom of Benin.
