Predateur Parisian Laundry out of Montreal showed work by BGL and Janet Werner. It is a good bet that the BGL piece was one of the most frequently tweeted (and "Instagramed") during Untitled.

It is also a piece that draws the eye, clever and whimsical in its use of carved wood that looks positively ancient mixed with panties that could be from Fredericks of Hollywood.

Werner, originally from Manitoba and living in Montreal, paints portraits as a means "to explore notions of subjectivity and desire." Her works are composites of reality and transformation, of notions of innocence and loss. There is more than the surface image in these works.
