Paralelo Gallery, in Sao Paulo, opened in 2010. The gallery is contemporary and focused on the current trends in art. Part of the gallery's purpose is to make connections between Brazilian art/artists and artists of the rest of what we call "Latin America."
Luiz Hermano lives and works in São Paulo. Early on he studied philosophy and currently works in both engraving and drawing. His work has been shown around the world, at the Seoul Biennial (1983), Havana Pan American Biennal (1986) and many others. His work is held in prestigious collections around the world as well.
He uses toys and trinkets and other "common" objects in his work. These photos and videos do not even come close to capturing the pieces.
