Pan American Art Projects showed Gravitational Field, a three dimensional, mixed media piece by Carolina Sardi at Art Miami 2016. It is plated steel over a painted wall (hence my calling it mixed media). Looking at the piece (in person or photo) your immediate reaction is that there are many materials in the piece. Colors and shapes play with the light and the shadows are as much a part of the work as an physical thing.
