Vegys work is character-centered and narrative based. Sometimes the artists provides the narrative within the work and other times this narrative that is left to the viewer. She aims to create pieces that are as far outside what is fashionable in animation as is possible. We tip our hat to her for that.
These new works reference her feelings about living in this new century--the foreboding and ominous feeling we are at a tipping point.
