Michael Gregory,a native of Los Angeles, creates striking, haunting paintings of buildings. In the past half decade these works have become his focus. The works here look almost photographic--almost. Slight variations in reality are visibile upon close inspection. Gregory received his BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and he currently lives in Bolinas, California.
His newer work takes the focus off the building and puts it on figures--in the distance but you cannot see this development in these pieces.
