MRG Fine Art Gallery (Los Angeles) showed work by Dante Latessa at Scope Miami Beach 2016. Latessa is an artist who burst on the scene recently and probably pisses a LOT of people with MFAs off. He starts painting and within a year or so collectors are buying his work for huge prices?
Why DID you spend all that money at Pratt, RISD or the Art Institute! JUST KIDDING, stop frothing ! MFAs are great. But so is fresh art from people outside of academic confines.
