Followers of Nilak by Keesha Bruce Morton Fine Art, out of Washington D.C., showed work by Keesha Bruce, Maya Freelon Asante and Victor Ekpuk at Agua Art Fair in Miami Beach (At the Agua Hotel).
Agua is the "little fair that could." It is set, as noted, in a hotel with the rooms serving as galleries. This year, no exception really, has a large number of really excellent artists from numerous genres (and from all over the world). Also, while there are some very expensive pieces in the show, there are also many affordable pieces.
Morton Fine art is nestled in one of the larger rooms in the back corner. DO NOT miss it. I hope to bother them for more on their artists sometime soon.
