Max Estrella Gallery (Madrid) had a number of interesting artists. Nico Munuera, Markus Linnenbrink and Daniel Canogar all had striking pieces. The first two have work pictured here (I forgot the names and I inexplicably didn't write them down).

The pieces below are by Cuban artiste Gina Pellón. I confess to not being 100 percent sure that these were shown by Max Estrella Gallery. At every show there are probably three or four points where my note taking fails me (or my handwriting).
Pellón currently lives in France and is 85 years old. She has, in the course of her career, beeo associated with the Surrealists, with COBRA but her work is hard to assign to any single "school." If her work looks familiar it is in a slew of public collections. You can see more of her work at Cernuda Arte (who are always a good place to look for info on Cuban painters).
