Matt Corrado's Wavelengths: A Poetic Synthesis of Sound and Art runs June 12 to July 13, 2014 at Adah Rose Gallery (3766 Howard Ave. Kensington, MD).
There will be an opening Vernissage from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M. Saturday, June 14, 2014.
Corrado has influences ranging from skateboarding to Jazz and from comic books to architecture. His work uses "site specific ambient sound" to complement the physical component of the exhibition (painting, drawings). He is a graduate of RISD and does both fine art, digital media and illustration. The artist is also a musician, composer and promoter.
