Mara Diener's Extended Walk, painting and installation, opens March 14, 2014 at Galerie Cubus-m (Inh. Holger Marquardt Pohlstraße 75 10785 Berlin). There will be an opening reception at 7 p.m. Friday, March 14. Opening remarks by Isolde Nagel. The exhibit is curated by Halina Muchow.
The exhibit consists of large scale graphite drawings that are hung on the walls depicting cloudy but still naturalistic universes. The pieces include cryptic codes and signs.
Diner studied painting at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna nd then at the Berlin University of the Arts,earning a master’s degree. This is her second solo exhibit with the gallery.
