Partially funded via crowdfunding, Mapanare's first art show (Constantly Consuming Culture--The Art Show) opened Saturday September 7, 2013 at 222 N. Desplaines in Chicago. The opening was a success and artists continue selling pieces as a result of the show. You can still drop by until Thursday every day between 10 am and 1 pm to check out the art (you don't have to buy!).
Artists include: Julia Hamilton, John Schedler, John Airo, Elyse Martin, Serena Toxicat and Mikey Peterson.
