Mamma Andersson showing new woodcuts at Stephen Friedman Gallery (25 - 28 Old Burlington St., London) April 28 to May 27, 2017. This is the Swedish artist's fifth exhibit at the gallery. Andersson is also a painter and three large scale canvases are part of this exhibit.
Her work is hypnotic and filled with characters taken out of time and place but still with a line thrown back into the modern world. This is her first exhibit dedicated primarily to woodcuts.
