Laurene Vallieres work shown by Station 16 Gallery (Montreal) at Scope Miami Beach 2016.
These pieces are cardboard sculptures from the Quebec City-born artist. She studied at Concordia, spent time at a residency in Russia.
Cardboard represents the influence of street art on her work. You find cardboard out on the street I suppose and really if you can find a way to link your art to "street art" do it. It makes rich people think you are relevent.
These pieces are inspired regardless of their inspiration or the materials used.
