Self Portrait, White Bird
Laura Kimpton, out of California, is a painter, sculptor and mixed media artist. Her work incorporates found objects, paint, resin, televisions, photography and found objects. Her latest installation, Myths, Words and Fire, opens December 1, 2015 at SLS South Beach Hotel (1701 Collins Ave., Miami Beach). This installation includes the ground floor of the hotel from the street to the pool. It is sponsored by collectors Marc Bell and Marc Leder.
