Gallery Tableau (Seoul) showed work by Jee Yeon Kim and Sang Hee Koo at Scope Miami Beach 2017.
Kim's work is going to inspire comparisons to Ed Ruscha (which is, of course, a compliment).
Koo's pieces cleverly riff off and are a homage to Vincent Van Gogh but unlike many such efforts this is not simply repainting Van Gogh. Especially the effort on the right below. The rendering of the bedroom reflected in the doorknob is truly beautiful.
