Adventures of A Woman #2 by Joan Brown
Solo exhibits of work by the late Joan Brown stretched for nearly 50 years and her work is held in numerous public collections--Museum of Modern Art (New York), the Whitney, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and too many more to list.
Gallery Paule Anglim is showing her piece Adventures of a Woman #2 at the new Miami Project Art Fair.
Their booth is not dedicated to artists past however. There are several pieces by Ala Ebtekar. Ebetekar was born in the USA to Iranian parents. He was part of Tim Rollins Kids Of Survival group. KOS produced collaborative artwork by urban youth. Ebtekar's work was recently featured in a solo exhibit at Paule Anglim. It has also been part of exhibits around the world.
Two other pieces, far too subtle to photograph (at least by ME) are also on display.
