Neumann, who lives in Berlin, is represented by the gallery. His painting of people lack features and are descriptive of emotions. They are allegories rather than portraits. Two of his works are shown here.
Kiefer, another German artist and one you should know, takes his inspiration from German history and culture. He is considered one of the most significant German artists of his generation. The Metropolitan Museum has an excellent description of his career and work HERE.
Kippenberger seemed to work in just about every single medium there is: sculpture, photography, painting, pieces on paper, printing and other odds and ends. He was also one of those "shooting star" sorts of artists. He created this wide variety of work before dying of liver cancer at the age of 44.
