Nirwana by Walter Wolf Galerie Juliane Hundertmark (Berlin) showed work by Juliane Hundertmark and Walter Wolf at Scope Miami Beach 2019.
Wolf's piece is oil on canvas while both Hundertmark's are oil, graphite and collage on paper (Picnick) and oil and collage on canvas (After Hour).
Wolf's work is somewhere between Byzantine iconography and Egyptian tomb painting, or at least that was my initial reaction to it. Hundertmark's work are haunting fantasies. They are somewhere between sweet and horrific.
