Zermatt at Night Galerie Eva Presenhuber (Zurich) showed Zematt at Night By Karen Kilimnik at Art Basel Miami Beach 2014.
Kilimnik is a painter and installation artist from Philadelphia (she studied there as well, at Temple). Some of her best known work uses what is best described as collage....but maybe the artist would smack me for using that term.
This piece is water soluble oil and glitter on canvas. You miss a great deal of the sparkilyness in this photo (the color is also off). It does give the impression of a cold night at the ski lodge.
