Gallerie Ernst Hilger (Vienna/ Jersey City) showed art by Cameron Platter, Alexis Diaz, Mel Ramos and Gunter Damisch at Art Miami 2014.
Platter's site specific painting, Need Money II, (full image below close up to the right) and Mel Ramos' Chiquita Banana (below) are two of the most noticeable and photographed pieces at Art Miami this year.
But aside from these large sale eye-catching works Ernst Hilger also showed more modest in size works by Alex Diaz and Gunter Damisch--although these works themselves are striking it takes some doing to overshadow a wall sized installation and a nude woman emerging from a banana.
