Expo Chicago ends today Sunday, September 22, 2013. The second year featured a number of galleries from the first edition in 2012 as well as some new participants. There were a lot of galleries showing work by familiar but, there were also numerous works by what might be called “mid-career” or even “emerging” artists. These terms are a little confusing sometimes because they don’t necessarily imply what the WORDS suggest.
In addition to the gallery pieces were a number of In Situ pieces. Some of these are shown here in photo and video—notable is Glenn Kaino’s Bridge 2013, which you can see below.
