The exhibit is in celebration of the artist's 90th birthday. This exhibit features recently rectilinear and diagonal grid paintings. Moses has been working with grid paintings since the 1970s. Since his days with Ferus Gallery in Los Angeles back in the late 1950s Moses has been exploring the abstract. His first show of abstract paintings was with Ferus in 1958. Since then he has continued exploring depth and patterns.
