Dutch artist, Dylan Graham’s Ad Astra Per Aspera, will be shown at Waterhouse & Dodd Gallery in New York beginning October 6 through November 9, 2011. There is an opening reception Wednesday, October 5th from 6 to 8 p.m. with cocktails and live jazz. For details on that (you may need to rsvp) head HERE. This is the New Zealand born (but living in Amsterdam..so is he dutch or a Kiwi?) Graham’s first solo show at the gallery. His work can be found in numerous private collections and museums from Greece to Philadelphia. The title of the exhibit translates to “through hardships to the stars.” He works in paper cutouts wich are intricate and cut from a single sheet with exquisite and minute details.
