David Goldes Electro-graphs Runs January 30 to March 8, 2014 at Yossi Milo Gallery (245 Tenth Ave., New York City). There will be an artist reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 31.
This is Goldes' fourth solo exhibit with the gallery and consists of recent drawings and photos. These include photos created when electrical current is applied to drawings, graphite drawings and still life photographs of historic scientiic experiments with electricity. The works all make unseen currents visible. He uses electricity in his art.
