Channel--No:01 by Keng JieSheng Da Xiang Art Space (Taichung, Taiwan) showed work by Keng JieSheng, Low Kimchit and Zhang Yu at Context Miami 2014.
Keng's work was one that drew a great deal of spectator attention. When I passed by a couple times there were always several people peering at that ghostly hand.
Low's piece use traditional method and materials mixed with modern elements--it is acrylic, Chinese ink and rice paper.
Zhang's piece needs a closer look as is actually made up of fingerprints. It is made of Xuan paper and plant pigment. This is also rice paper used for both writing and art.
