The gallery showed work by Navasardian at Expo Chicago this year as well (different pieces). The has a BFA from Carnegie Mellon and has been widely acclaimed as an up and coming artist.
Alonzo's work is elaborate and heavily decorated. She often takes mundane or utilitarian items and brings them to life using paint and molding paste.
Trinkhaus' piece below is a collage of printed paper on canvas. The portraits are always missing a piece, sort of like a glimpse behind the character's mask.
