Bravo, full name Gonzales Bravo, is a Spanish artist whose layered, intensely colored paintings leap off the walls and (figuratively) punch you in the face. Their is an intricacy in the abstraction too. When you get near them details emerge that are lost at a distance, overwhelmed by the color.
