The exhibit runs until May 5. There will be an opening party from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday April 6 and a talk from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on the same day.
The exhibit is the work of Ma Jun. Ink figures prominently in the history of China's art. Calligraphy is just one aspect of this. There is also the spatial concept of ink (as in Tai Chi). Likewise there is conceptual ink--connections between different forms of art.
The exhibit was curated by Chai Zhongjian.
