Annely Juda Fine Art (London) showed a number of magnificent iPad drawings on printed paper by David Hockney at Art Basel Miami Beach.
These large (139.7 x 105.4 cm) printed pieces are a wonder to see and an interesting new avenue for the great painter. These are two of a number of pieces shown by the gallery in one of the most interesting booths at the 2014 edition of Art Basel.
At first glance you might think these watercolor works...giant ones. Or if you'd read this article in the Telegraph about how Hockney started creating art with his iPhone a couple of years back. He has apparently moved on to the iPad with spectacular results.
