This is Agee's third solo show with the gallery. The exhibit will feature over 100 unique pieces. These are inspired by late 17th an early 18th century Italian folks salt shakers in the collection of the Davanzati Palace (Florence). The pieces, depicting the divine infant, are made from different types of clay and using different techniques. They range in size and in how they are fired and glazed as well.
Agee lives and works in Brooklyn and has a BFA from The Cooper Union and an MFA from Yale. She is a pioneer in feminist ceramics whose work has been shown widely around the world.
