The people in charge, however, didn’t use his track and opted for the track he felt personified lameness. Parker decided to record an album of songs for imaginary television shows.
Now if ONLY someone would make the shows to go along with these friggin’ songs.
Imaginary Television is the twentieth album in Parker’s long career and his fourth on Chicago’s Bloodshot Records. Parker is touring for the new record (including an April 17 date at the Old Town School in Chicago). More info is available on the Graham Parker website or on the Bloodshot Records website.
