Anna Zorina Gallery showed work by Alexander Kaletski, Bradley Hart and Alonsa Guevara at Context Miami 2016.
The pieces by Kaletski are mixed media on cardboard. Painting on cardboard is something the artist has done since his early days in the USA. He often incorporates the images from the boxes into his work (see below). Coco Cliquot is painted on Veuve Cliquot boxes. You can also read an interview with Kaletski HERE.
Hart's piece below is acrylic, wood and...bubble wrap. You probably do not want to pop it. You can see a close up and full size of the piece below. He is a Canadian-born artist who lives in New York City.
Guevara's oil on canvas piece looks like you could pull a piece of fruit off of it. She is from Chile and lives in New York. She says her work creates magical worlds filtered by her experiences as a woman. The pieces explore fantasy and sexual desire.
