The AWFJ EDA Awards event happens January 10 and will celebrate 2010’s outstanding achievements in films by and/or about women. AWFJ is a not-for-profit association of professional female movie critics, reporters and other writers. They work in print, broadcast and online media. The aim is to support work by and about women (and awards go to those in front of and behind the cameras).
They work with other groups in various outreach and activities. One of their most important events are the EDA awards for outstanding accomplishments. And they do not just mean the GOOD. There are awards for the WORST of women in film too.

12/16/2010- 2010 EDA AWARDS CATEGORIES ANNOUNCED.
12/20/2010- Due date for completed nominating ballots.
12/ 22/2010- 2010 EDA AWARDS NOMINEES ANNOUNCED.
12/29/2010- Final voting ballots distributed to members.
01/ 5/2011- Due date for completed voting ballots.
