Mekons Documentary, Revenge Of The Mekons Is Coming

I make no bones about my, fairly recent, Mekons-mania. Sure, I had a record or two way back when, but I think my younger brain was not sensible enough to realize just how great the band is. It also might be that they have gotten progressively BETTER over time.

Right now the band is finishing up a Kickstarter campaign for the documentary film, Revenge of the Mekons. It raised over $35,000 and the films will now be completed and released. It is amazing a band as significant as this has to raise money for a documentary. If you haven't heard of or heard the Mekons, slap yourself in the face right now.  The band's members have also, in various other projects, produced some pretty amazing music.
