Jackie Bristow first started recording in Australia and later moved to Austin Texas. Her third record, Freedom, comes out February 15, 2011. She will also be touring with guitarist, Tommy Emmanuel. The record was made in Austin and Sydney.

One neat place she is playing is the Austin airport, the only airport I have ever been in with live entertainment.

Bristow’s music has been in numerous Australian and New Zealand-made films and television shows. One track, This is Australia, won a tourism song competition and was used in a worldwide ad campaign. Hey, look, being a musician is a job too.
