Ovlov, out of Connecticut, are poised to release their debut LP, Am, on July 2, 2013. They have released a single, Blue Baby, as a preview. You can listen and download below via Soundclound.  Think powerpop meets shoegaze.

There is also a "Sing With Chk" contest. Unlike many contests this one is simple. Upload a video of you singing along to a song (or send an MP3) to singwithchk@gmail.com. While your singing is the key you can also throw in some dance moves and otherwise demonstrate your star quality.

Into It. Over It has signed with Triple Crown Records. The project is the brainchild of Evan Weiss and there is a new LP coming out in September. Weiss is recording now and you can check out a teaser video below.

Brian Deck (of Tortoise) is working with Weiss on the record. Deck has previously worked with Iron & Wine and Modest Mouse.
