Wild Belle, a sibling duo out of Chicago, have just signed to Columbia Records. The two have a slew of musical influences from pop to reggae to jazz and beyond. Check out the video, It’s Too Late, below to get an idea of where they are coming from.

California Wives, out of Chicago, are heading out on tour. They are also releasing their debut, Art History, on September 4, 2012.

Blood Red Youth is the band’s first single and you can check it out below. The track is produced by Claudius Mittendorfer who also worked with Interpol and Neon Indian. Two other tracks, Purple and Marianne, are below for free download.

Mount Kimbie, a duo made up of Kai Campos and Dom Maker, have signed to Warp Records. The group have released several EPs and a full length, Crooks & Lovers. They are working on their first release for Warp now.

Matisyahu, that purveyor of Judaic Reggae, will be at Uncle Sams, 1141 Washington Ave., Miami Beach at 4 p.m. (they flyer does say 3)Wednesday, August 24 to do a live acoustic appearance. He will be playing four songs and signing CDs for the first 75 people who buy one.

There are also limited edition T-shirts for those who purchase the CD (somewhere around 60 of those).

This is in advance of Matisyahu's show August 25 at the Fillmore Miami Beach with Trevor Hall opening. You can get more info on Matisyahu, and free downloads at his website, matisyahuworld.com.
