Soulwhirlingsomewhere just released a new "name your price" ep, Sleeplike, on Bandcamp.

Soulwhirlingsomewhere first emerged on Projekt Records in the 1990s--producing records of hearfelt, ethereal music that calls to mind everything from Red House Painters to Brian Eno and a slew of other acts.

Don't let this foolish exercise in comparison feel you; Michael Plaster created, and creates, something all his own as well. His music is like a fingerprint, when you hear it you know it is his.

RocketNumberNine (brothers Tom & Ben Page) hail from London. Their debut MeYouWeYou comes out July 30 2013 on Smalltown Supersound. Those of you who are jazz aficionados may note the name is a Sun Ra reference.

This, however, is dance music and although this is the first album they have been making music for some time. Check out the tracks, Deadly Buzz and Rotunda (Four Tet remix) below. You can download the remix free.

The band is also touring Europe beginning in May. Dates are below. Another track, Tin Can Valley, is also available below for download (via Soundcloud).

There is a layered, soothing quality to this music (referring to the new song). It seems simple but listen a little and yu will see it is not.
