Cernuda Arte in Coral Cables most recent exhibition, Tomás Sánchez in Focus, closes July 2. This is your last change to see this acclaimed one-man show. The closing reception for the show begins at 7 p.m., Friday July 2 and ends at 10 p.m. Cernuda Arte is located at 3155 Ponce de Leon Blvd, Coral Gables, FL.

David Simpson (AKA Dabu) To Show Work At Saki In Logan Square (Chicago)

Is it a record store? An Art Gallery? A performance space? OR..is it ALLLL of the above?

Saki, in the Logan Square area of Chicago (I live in a slightly less fashionable and more “stabby” area just south of Logan Square) is having an exhibition of the work of David Simpson or Dabu. The exhibit will feature pencil drawings, paintings in various media and more. They describe the art as “almost supernatural” and possessed of a “childlike wonder”.

It wont cost you a thing to swing by and look on a nice summer day. But I suspect should you really have an interest some of the art will be for sale.
